A Message from the Superintendent
 

Welcome to Buffalo ISD, “Where the Mighty Bison roam.”  We hope that you will find the information on our website to be relevant and useful. 

Buffalo ISD is located in Leon County, “The Deerest Place in Texas,” in a beautiful setting at the crossroads of Hwy 79 and Interstate 45, about halfway between Houston and Dallas.  Buffalo ISD has three campuses:  Buffalo High School (9-12), Buffalo Junior High (6-8), and Buffalo Elementary (PK- 5). 

Our approximately 800 students and dedicated staff look forward to the 2007-2008 school year with anticipation of great accomplishments. We are proud of our past, look forward to the future and are ready to take on the challenges that lie ahead.
