2007 TAX RATE

 

On August 27, 2007, the Board of Trustees of the Buffalo Independent School District, set the tax rate on $100 valuation for the District for the tax year 2007 at a total tax rate of $1.23126.

$1.04000 for the purpose of Maintenance and Operation, and

$0.19126 for the purpose of payment of Principal and Interest on debts.

 

"THE BUFFALO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE;:  and

"THE TAX RATE WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY (-$307.90)."
